Oasis Hub Lordshill Down to Earth Farm has been at the heart of the local Southampton community for over 80 years, and provides a range of different services to targeted groups as well as the wider local community.
Core activities include sessions for service users with learning disabilities, school visits, birthday parties and visits from the public. The farm also hold four extremely successful open days each year, and all activity is supported by a strong volunteer team.
To ensure Oasis Down to Earth Farm is a successful, thriving enterprise and that the highest levels of animal welfare are maintained, we are seeking a Farm Worker to be part of the farm team, contributing to the overall running of the farm, including sessions with service users, birthday parties and animal care.
This is currently a temporary contract to August 2018, with the possibility that it may extend further. This role is a minimum of 14 hours per week, with extra hours possible when needed (e.g. cover / school holiday periods etc).

Applicants will be committed to the ethos of Oasis and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff will be subject to appropriate checks, including enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Scheme) checks and referencing.
