Oasis Community Partnerships is looking for highly organised and self-motivated individuals to join the Oasis family as Internship Volunteers.  Positions are available in the following areas:

  • Oldham
  • Salford
  • Bristol
  • Birmingham (low cost shared house accommodation may be available)
  • London

These positions will be within the Corporate Partnerships Team but work in the location that suits the successful candidate.  Depending on the location, the successful candidate could get the experience to:

  • Prospect research for Trust funding, Corporate Partnerships and Major Donor
  • Support the development, marketing and implementation of a corporate partner’s volunteer scheme
  • Where necessary contribute to the wider work of local fundraising and communications.
  • Assist in the drafting of social media posts, including Twitter and Facebook
  • Support the delivery of a range of projects within the local youth and community projects e.g. youth clubs, community meals, health & wellbeing projects.
  • Manage and develop databases (e.g. media or fundraising)
  • Assist with funding applications

This is an unpaid short-term role, but you will benefit from:

  • Paid reasonable travel expenses (relevant London travel zones 1-6)
  • Supportive environment, working with a friendly team of experienced professionals
  • Structured learning and on the job practical training
  • A reference at the end of the position

This is a great opportunity for hands on experience with front line project management, forging new relationships with corporate social responsibility departments and understanding what value the third sector brings to the corporate market.
